The first-ever Local Yarn Shop Day takes place this Saturday, April 21st, and we’re inviting you to come in and celebrate with us so we can thank you for supporting local brick and mortar yarn shops. We’ll have refreshments available, and some gifts with purchase (some are limited quantity, so come in early!). In addition, Mountain Colors has created a special “fade” cowl kit just for the occasion, and we will have them available for sale!
We hope you can make it–it just won’t be a party without you!
You’re invited to a tea and Valentine’s Day crafting event with us on Sunday February 11 from 1pm to 4pm! We’ll serve some sweets, brew a special Valentine’s Day tea, and knit/crochet some hearts for gifts, embellishments, and decorating.
Think about some little hearts to decorate your hat, or some with buttonholes in the middle–that could turn any sweater or coat into a special Valentine’s Day garment! then there are sachets, pincushions, garlands, coasters–the possibilities are only limited by our imaginations.
Bring your own favorite heart-shaped patterns to inspire others, or check out the ones we’re crushing on. We have lots of great red, pink, and variegated yarn available for purchase for your knit/crochet pleasure!
We’ll provide the refreshments, some skinny ribbon for hanging loops, and some lavender oil for sachets. Let’s have some fun!
